Our data security policy
For TGO Consulting the security of our data is paramount. We use a VMware ESXi Enterprise Cloud Storage solution in which all our files are 2048 bits encrypted. Our files are 100% shielded and secure. The platform we use is designed active/active redundant and simultaneously hosted on two separate data centers both located in the Netherlands. We have a guaranteed uptime of 99,999%
The data centers are ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified. Each facility is under close 24/7 CCTV surveillance. In case of an emergency engineers and guards are present on premises 24/7 to solve any problem. The temperature on the data floor is kept at a constant temperature of 21° C with a margin of 2° C. Humidity is kept between 10% and 50%. Both data centers are equipped with an Aspiration Fire Detection System which has been linked to VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) which is directly linked to the MIST- Fire Extinguishing System. In case of a fire the data floor is filled with the oxygen-replacing Argon gas and accordingly, the fire will be extinguished due to lack of oxygen. The equipment will not be damaged by the Argon gas.
TGO Consulting only uses computers with the latest version of Windows 10 installed. Software is routinely updated on a daily basis. All our computers are password protected and all data are fully encrypted. All connections are made via a VPN connection. Only software and no client data is stored locally on computers. The most up-to-date versions of advanced anti-malware and anti-virus software is employed to keep our systems safe. All our staff and consultants receive regular training in cyber security. All data is fully compartmentalized and only accessible on a need to know basis. Permissions are revoked after a project has ended. Paper records are kept to a minimum and shredded as soon as they are no longer needed. Everyone employed or contracted by TGO Consulting has signed a strict confidentiality agreement. It is never permitted to take documents outside the office other than for the purpose of a specific client meeting. Client data will never be stored on USB-sticks or other removable drives. Sensitive documents that need to be send by email will always be password protected. In such event passwords will be send separately by SMS to a verified mobile phone. We will never disclose our clients’ names.
